The website points at the date of August 24th for the reveal, so whether the announcement is a remake or a brand new game in the series is anyone’s guess.

Yakuza is a long-running action-adventure series that originally released on the PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2005. There have been 5 main entries in the series and a host of spin-offs, though the latest main-installment has yet to be localized. The games have not been big sellers in the US, but they have a loyal following that has steadily grown as the series continues.
