Project Spark Launching October 7th For Xbox One & PC

I thought March was one of the best months gaming has ever seen, but now its looking like October could blow even that month out of the water. Microsoft has revealed that Project Spark will be joining the Halloween-time madness when it releases on October 7th for Xbox One and PC. The Xbox 360 version still does not have a release date.

You can download the game completely free when it releases, but to get all of the bells and whistles you’ll probably want to go with the $40 retail version. The retail version of the game comes with the Galaxies: First Contact expansion, the Sir Haakon “Hawk” character, the Champions Quest: Void Storm and more.

Talking about the Xbox 360 version of the game, Microsoft told GameSpot the following:

“Our team is focused on creating a great experience on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 first, and will then bring that to Xbox 360. We don’t have a timeline to share right now, but it’s certainly on our roadmap.”
