Konami has announced that they will be releasing two older Silent Hill games for the PlayStation Vita in Europe this year, with exact dates to be announced very soon. The games are Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
Both of the games will cost £7.99/9,95 Euro each, though a North American release has yet to be announced. One would think that that announcement isn’t too far off.
Konami said the following about these re-released:
“The Silent Hill series enjoys a stunning reputation for innovation and terror, and these re-issues will introduce a new generation of users to its terrifying secrets.”
Condemn (OR) Condone:
This is a great idea to bring to beloved but lesser-known titles from the Silent Hill series to a current system. One can only hope that these do well enough that they get a release in the US, because if they don’t then there will be hell to pay.
