Developer Hydra Interactive Entertainment has announced that their next game will be an Action RPG called Upside Down Dimensions. The game combines several different gameplay styles like hack ‘n’ slash, stealth and platforming, and apparently drew inspiration from games like Paper Mario and The Legend of Zelda.
The game is set in a vibrant paper world and you control two characters called Ryuu and Keiko, who are a boy and girl that have been separated into different dimensions.
Although no official release date was revealed, it does have a launch window of 2015 and will be coming to PC, Vita and mobile as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One. A Wii U version is also a possibility.
Condemn (OR) Condone:
Considering I love the games it is influenced by, this sounds like a game I could definitely dig into. I like that it will be combining different styles of gameplay into a beautiful and vibrant setting, which makes me think of Paper Mario a little bit and that is a very good thing.
