Sony has announced that three JRPGs are making their way to the PlayStation Vita soon. They are Soul Sacrifice Delta, Freedom Wars and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.
Soul Sacrifice is coming first, and will be an updated version of the original game. This version adds a Grim faction, monsters and missions. The graphics engine is also getting a bit of a boost along with a deeper customization system. It hits shelves on May 13th.
Freedom Wars covers a prison where people get sentenced to a million years of hard time. You try to fight your way out and have the ability to free civilians to shorten your own sentence.
Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines focuses on a Japanese clan that whose members have just a 2-year lifespan. You try to lift the curse and each new generation of the clan’s power builds off of the last one.
Condemn (OR) Condone:
Sounds like the Vita is getting some pretty hardcore games in the foreseeable future. The concepts of these games all sound intriguing to me, and hopefully the ones yet to be released live up to their potential.
