During today’s Nintendo Direct show Masahiro Sakurai made a pretty surprising announcement. He revealed that the upcoming Smash Bros. games on 3DS and Wii U will not be getting a simultaneous release, but instead have to entirely separate seasonal windows.
He announced that the 3DS version of the game will be coming during the Summer of this year, while the Wii U version of the game will be coming during the Winter of this year.
Condemn (OR) Condone:
This is a pretty interesting move on Nintendo’s part. You would think that if there was one version that was going to release first it would be the Wii U version, considering that system’s struggles as of late. I was expecting a simultaneous release, but maybe these two games are truly going to be 2 distinctive experiences? I’m not sure about this one.
Judgment: (OR)
[Note] The judgments are the following:
Condemn – Hate | (O) – Dislike | (OR) – Indifferent | (R) – Like | Condone – Love
