If you were wondering what changes have been made to the critically-panned Final Fantasy XIV in the new and improved version called Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, you have chance to find out for free right now in the form of an open beta on PS4.

The open beta lasts until 1 PM PT on Monday, April 7th, and to access it you have to download the 11GB client and then sign in with a Square Enix account. The game will run on servers that will allow you play with not only PS4 gamers, but PS3 and PC gamers, as well.

It is also noted that all progress that is made in this open beta will be able to be brought over to the full version of the game that will be released on April 14th. If you’ve got a PS4, go have some fun!
