The new issue of Game Informer is out, and in it they give the run down on Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes. Gamers knew that this was going to be a shorter game because of the fact that it’s a prologue to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and they’re only charging $30 for it. However, I don’t think anyone thought it would be *this* quick.
Kotaku reported the following from Game Informer’s article: “Judged just by the core story mission, Ground Zeroes is short. We completed it in just less than two hours.”
Yikes. Now, even though there are some extra modes that would extend this overall playtime, charging $30-$40 for a game you can be done with in one solid gaming session is crazy. I know that it’s only a prologue, but if that’s the case then it should be a download for $10. Kojima has said that the actual game will be hundreds of times bigger than this, and knowing how small this one is now I should better hope the full game will dwarf this ones size. It freakin’ better, anyway!
