Nintendo is giving you the chance to try out their pay-to-play sports game Wii Sports Club for free. Next weekend you will be able to download and play the game for free on the Wii U. To clarify, that is from March 21st to March 23rd.
Once the trial has come to a conclusion, the plan will revert to the rental pricing. A day pass can be acquired for $1.99 and individual sports can be obtained permanently for $9.99. More games are also slated to hit Wii Sports Club in the future.
Condemn OR Condone: I say play it for free then drop it once the trial is over. It’s ridiculous that a company would charge so much for a game that came bundled for free on previous Nintendo systems.
