Sega has announced that a new game in the Crazy Taxi series, titled Crazy Taxi: City Rush, is being released later this year! Unfortunately, it is a free-to-play mobile game. Aww…

Crazy Taxi creator Kenji Kanno said the following about the game:

“We are delivering a truly fun game that captures everything our fans love about the original and infusing it with several new features to create an even more fantastic and memorable experience.”

While it’s great that Crazy Taxi is coming back, it’s a bummer that it’s only on mobile devices. This is a classic series that actual gamers were really into, but it looks like this will be tailored more for the casual crowd.
