Thanks to the recent launch of the PlayStation 4 in Japan, Sony has announced another major milestone for their new system. The PlayStation 4 has now sold over 6 million units, with nearly 400,000 of those sales coming from the recent Japanese launch.

What’s most incredible about these numbers is that they absolutely trump the 5 million that Sony was aiming for by the end of March. Nearly 14 million games have been sold for the system and about half of the users have signed up for PlayStation Plus.

Condemn OR Condone:

There is just no stopping the PlayStation 4. With sales now soaring over the 6 million mark, it looks like Sony will be closer to 7 million then their estimated 5 million. This is a huge success no matter how you slice it!
