If you’re in the UK and have been mulling over purchasing an Xbox One, this news may be just what you were waiting for. Microsoft has announced that they will be cutting the price of the Xbox One to £399.99.

Xbox’s UK Marketing Director Harvey Eagle had the following to say on the matter:

“For us it’s about giving UK gamers the best value we can. That really starts with the announcement we’re making today with this new £399 price-point. But it’s also very much about the launch of Titanfall, and now seems a great time to offer the best value we can and include what is the hottest game of this new console generation in the box for our fans.”

He also mentioned that the price cut, for the moment, is exclusive to the UK.

Condemn OR Condone: Considering the price hovers around the £430 mark in the UK currently, this isn’t exactly a humongous deal. Still, shaving off some money is better than nothing at all, and could be the convincing move that makes people go out and buy it now that Titanfall is right around the corner.
