Ever since Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was announced, there has been something of a war regarding which system would be the best to play it on. There had been rumors that PlayStation 4 would be getting the best version because it is more powerful and can handle a higher resolution, while Xbox One would be displayed in a lower resolution. Now, the fog has been cleared.
According to Konami, PlayStation 4 will indeed have a higher resolution that Xbox One, with the PlayStation 4 version running at 1080p and the Xbox One version running at 720p. However, Konami does promise that both versions of the game will run at 60 FPS.
Konami wrote the following on their site: “Since Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a multi-platform game, we have taken the opportunity to test the differences in how each version of the game looks and plays.”
They also released a graph on their site comparing each version. That graph is below.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a prequel to the upcoming full-game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and will be released on March 18.
