One of the most anticipated cross-over games to come along in a while, Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, has been in-development for a while now and will be hitting European shelves in a couple of months. However, Level-5 president Akihiro Hino has released a special message to fans in which he discusses the quality of the game.

Hino states that Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will have a movie-level quality to it, and you can really tell that both Professor Layton’s Level-5 and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney’s Capcom have given everything they have into making this the best game possible. Hino goes as far as saying they didn’t want to miss this great opportunity to create something considered a spin-off, but something that is essential to both series and something that even tops both series. That’s some exciting news, right there.

Although there is no official release date for North America, we do know that it’s coming out on March 28th in Europe. You can watch the video of Akihiro Hino discussing the game below.
