Kirby: Triple Deluxe

It looks like Kirby will be making his way to North American store shelves the same day as Mario and his golf clubs will, as it was announced on Nintendo Direct that Kirby: Triple Deluxe is being released on May 2nd.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe is developed by HAL Laboratory and is a platformer that is displayed in a 2.5D perspective. This time Kirby will be able to between the foreground and the background of the screen with the use of a Warp Star. Of course, Kirby’s famous eating ability will be back and better than ever, which will give him brand new abilities this time around, such as eating a Miracle Fruit allowing him to become Hypernova Kirby.

A new gameplay trailer was also released, which you can watch below.
