Fans of the critically-acclaimed first-person shooter BioShock Infinite have been waiting patiently for a while now for promised DLC that has been noted to expand upon the story and introduce new characters, weapons and areas. Now, according to a representative of game developer Irrational Games, news about the highly-anticipated DLC will be released at the end of this month.
Previous reports have said that as many as three new chapters of single-player content are in the works, though other things such as weapon packs could potentially come along as well. I would assume that the first big DLC would be for single-player, and maybe later on release smaller chunks of DLC. Makes sense, anyway. I sure wouldn’t want the big announcement to be about a new gun I can use in a game I already played.
When Irrational Games boss Ken Levine was talking about this DLC, he seemed optimistic about the progress being made, but warned that it’s a slow process. “Things are going well,” said Levine, “but plz understand: game development takes time.”
