It seems perfectly reasonable then that the band would release Tour Rehearsal Tapes, a 6-song EP comprised of songs from their last two albums recorded live in the studio. The release date is October 15thand it will be available digitally.

It will be very interesting to hear these tracks, as on the recent Black Keys albums, the band’s songs have appeared very polished from the bigger production. It seems that this EP will offer a rawer take on some of the band’s recent songs, which is something fans (like me!) will be sure to love.
