Sledgehammer’s upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is sure to feature many interesting ideas thanks to its futuristic setting, but this latest reveal definitely sounds the most intriguing.
According to Game Informer, there is a new weapon called the 3D Printer Gun, which is able to create bullets while you are using it. There is also a container that is labelled “liquid matter”, which seems like what will be used to create the bullets.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is being developed by Sledgehammer Games for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC and is eyeing a November 4th, 2014 release date.
My Judgment:
This does sound likely a really cool concept. With this gun, you could have a weapon that can fire and create bullets. It probably won’t be unlimited because of the liquid matter container, but it seems like it will take a lot longer to run out of ammo. It will be interesting to see what kind of quirks this will add to the actual gameplay.
