Microsoft has been talking up their upcoming E3 announcements a lot recently, saying that they will have a lot of major announcements to make and that is all feels “special”.
Well, we now know that the Xbox Media Briefing will be available to stream on June 9th at 9:30 AM PDT, with the briefing being dubbed as Xbox: Game On. You will be able to stream it on Xbox Live, Xbox.com and on the Windows Phone worldwide. US viewers will also be able to view the event on Spike TV.
The event is said to focus on many of the major franchises that Microsoft currently owns; such as Halo, Gears of War, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break and more.
The composer of the Halo series MartyO’Donnell is claiming that he has been fired from Bungie without cause.
O’Donnell posted the following message on twitter:
“I’m saddened to say that Bungie’s board of directors terminated me without cause on April 11, 2014.”
Although O’Donnell claims that there was no rhyme or reason to this parting, Bungie claims that it all happened on friendly terms. Bungie said the following in a statement:
“For more than a decade, Marty O’Donnell filled our worlds with unforgettable sounds and soundtracks, and left an indelible mark on our fans. Today, as friends, we say goodbye. We know that wherever his journey takes him, he will always have a bright and hopeful future.”

So… most people usually publish these kinds of lists at the very beginning of the year, but hey, I’m not most people (and let me tell you, that’s a good thing for society as a whole). Anyways, the first month of the year was pretty slow, and now there’s finally some potentially awesome games on the horizon for gamers. So, without further ado (or adon’t), here are my most anticipated video games of 2014. Continue reading →
