The PSP will never die! Natsume has announced that a new JRPG called End of Serenity will be coming to the portable platform this Summer. However, the game is being released digitally through the PlayStation Network, so Vita users will have access to the game, as well.
Natsume CEO Hiro Maekawa said the following:
Mystic Chronicles ended up being a surprise fan favorite in 2013, and we’re happy to bring players a game that will have a similar appeal to our North American audience. Inspired by the look and feel of old school, 16-bit RPGs, we feel our fans will really connect to the game’s look, feel and story.”
Condemn (OR) Condone:
I’m not gonna beat around the bush here and just say that I LOVE old-school RPGs. They had such a simple look, but at the same time they could beat you to a freakin’ pulp. If End of Serenity can give me some of that glorious old-school gameplay, then I am on board. Judgment: Condone.
