'Call Of Duty: Ghosts' Adds Chaos Mode

Call Of Duty: Ghosts has received a free update that adds a new mode called Chaos Mode. The mode has been in previous installments in the series, though it hasn’t been seen since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

In Chaos Mode you are pitted against endless waves of enemies, and each wave you survive you get new perks and combo multipliers. The update also adds a couple of new perks: Juiced and Fast Health Regen.

I’m a fan of these survival game types, so this is good news. It’s not anything revolutionary, but it’s certainly a good thing to have it back in the mix. Thus, my judgments is (R).

Titanfall Was The Highest-Selling Game Of March 2014

The March 2014 sales report has been revealed by the NPD Group, which reveals that the highest-selling game last month was none other than Respawn Entertainment‘s FPS Titanfall.

Titanfall released on the Xbox One and PC, which gave it a sizable boost over the PlayStation 4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son. The top 5 selling games for 2014 are as follows:

  1. Titanfall (Xbox One, PC)
  2. inFamous: Second Son (PlayStation 4)
  3. South Park: The Stick of Truth (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC)
  4. Call of Duty: Ghosts (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC)
  5. Dark Souls II (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360)

March will go down as one of the best months that gaming has had in a while, as 4 of the top 5 games received great reviews across the board. I would personally have liked to see Dark Souls II at the top of this list because it blew my freakin’ head right off my shoulders, but I won’t complain about Titanfall either. Hooray for gaming!

Predator In Ghosts' Devestation DLC?

Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting a new DLC pack called Devastation, and if this short instagram video doesn’t confirm that the infamous Predator will be appearing in it then I don’t know what will.

The teaser shows a character moving through a jungle-setting, and before long the person is suddenly encountered by a near-invisible being before the video cuts off. The video can be see on the callofduty instagram account.

First Michael Myers and now Predator? Looks like the Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC is becoming all about taking on famous horror villains. Honestly, that is pretty flippin’ cool.
