Waluigi Gets The Shaft In New Super Smash Bros. Game

WALUIGISAD

Waluigi is a character that is, without question, an afterthought. Mario got his mirrored-nemesis in the form of Wario, so they decided they needed to come up with someone to be the evil side of the coin for Luigi. The character they came up with was Waluigi. The name alone tells you the whole 9 seconds of thought they put into this character.

STILL, I think this character is hilarious in his evil-guy-standing-by-the-train-tracks persona, which makes it all the more disheartening that game director Masahiro Sakurai posted a picture of Waluigi as an assist trophy in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game and then confirmed that he will not be in the actual roster of the game. It’s just not fair! Waluigi has been getting the shaft for over a decade now, and once again Nintendo is crapping on his face! Sure, he’s not exactly a beloved character or anything, but at least give him his time to shine. He’s just been patiently hanging around and waiting for Nintendo to give him the green light into his glory day in the hot sun, and every time Nintendo poops on it. Shame on you, Nintendo, shame on you.
