Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart Trailer

On April 22nd Batman: Arkham Origins will be getting a story add-on DLC called Cold, Cold Heart, which will feature the one and only Mr. Freeze. Now, we have an official trailer for the add-on, and though it doesn’t reveal gameplay, it packs a big punch by doing very little.

The trailer begins with Bruce Wayne accepting an award at a ceremony that is then attacked by Mr. Freeze. Everyone gets frozen to the tune of Auld Lang Syne, and we witness Mr. Freeze walk off from his massacre.

This DLC will be released for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Check out the trailer at the top of this post.

This trailer is phenomenal. Even though it is very brief and shows no gameplay, the mixture of Auld Lang Syne with Mr. Freeze’s attack gave me goosebumps. It gives off a similar feeling to the one the Dead Space trailers gave me, and that is a very good thing. Here’s to hoping the actual DLC lives up to what is on display here.
