Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is coming out at the end of this month, and though we knew it would be a return of the classic Donkey Kong side scrolling action that we got a few years ago on Wii, nobody really knew just how big the game would be. That has now been confirmed thanks to Stephen Totilo from Kotaku posting a message on twitter.
He posted the following: “Donkey Kong Country Freeze is over 11GB. Biggest Nintendo game ever? It takes up half my Wii U!”
I think it’s safe to say Tropical Freeze is going to pack some serious punch in both the visual power and scope of the game it brings to the table. Considering the deluxe version of the Wii U is 32 gigs, if you’re planning on downloading this game then you might want to invest in some external memory. Unless you only ever plan on downloading 2 more games on the system in its life time.
