Here’s The Launch Trailer For Xenoblade Chronicles X

The sequel to the incredible Xenoblade Chronicles launches this week, and to commemorate the occasion an official launch trailer has been released. The trailer showcases a lot characters and locations featured throughout the game, which so far has garnered glowing acclaim.

Xenoblade Chronicles X launches exclusively for the Wii U on December 4th, 2015.

The New Xenoblade Chronicles X Trailer Is All About Survival

Xenoblade Chronicles X is probably my most anticipated game of the entire year, based solely on the fact that the original game is one of my favorite games of all time. No pressure on the sequel or anything, but it’s got a LOT to live up to. A LOT!

Anyways, a brief new trailer has been released for the game called Survival, and it gives a brief synopsis of the game while also showing off some of the game’s gorgeous locations. Humans are forced to flee their world and repopulate on an alien planet, which of course leads to some friction. And when I say friction, I mean that there are humongous monsters trying to eat them. Welcome to your new home!

See The Power Of Skells In The New Xenoblade Chronicles X Trailer

Xenoblade Chronicles X is right around the corner, and Nintendo has now released a new gameplay video showing off the mechs used in the game called Skells.

The video is pretty lengthy and definitely shows a lot of what’s in store for gamers. Skells are looking to shake things up a bit from the first game, as all combat was strictly on foot. However, it still looks like things control relatively similarly, with your commands recharging after using them.

Pre-Order Xenoblade Chronicles X At Best Buy And Get Free Pizza

Pre-order incentives are rarely worth it these days, but the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X has one that might just take the crown.

If you pre-order the game at Best Buy it comes with a “$10 ePizza Cash Presell Gift.” In order to get the “gift” you need to pre-order the game at least a day ahead of its release and it only works with the standard version of the game. Once complete you’ll get a code that you enter right here, which will apparently do something the day that the game launches.

Xenoblade Chronicles X Launches December 4th On Wii U

It launched in Japan months ago, but now we finally have a western release date for the highly-anticipated Xenoblade Chronicles X. The game will launch exclusively for the Wii U on December 4th.

The story this time around is the Earth has been destroyed and humanity has been marooned on a distant planet and must fight to survive against viscous beasts. The game looks gorgeous, though it’s gonna be extremely difficult to top the masterpiece that was the original game.

Wii U Launch List Reveals Release Window For Zelda Wii U Now “TBD”

Nintendo still has no idea what quarter Zelda Wii U will release in.

While posting their earnings for the last fiscal year, Nintendo also revealed the launch schedule for upcoming Wii U games. On this schedule it is shown that their upcoming Wii U Zelda game (which was recently delayed) no longer has a release date or even a release window.

Wii U Launch List

While this isn’t necessarily bad news for the game, it is interesting that they are still unsure which quarter of the year the game will release in. This means to me that the game definitely isn’t looking at a Q1 or even Q2 release.

Elsewhere on the list we see some familiar vague release dates with both Xenoblade Chronicles X and Star Fox still only listed as coming in 2015. Mario Maker and Yoshi’s Woolly World are still targeting a Q3 release window, while the cross-over game Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem joins Zelda Wii U in a release window of TBD.
