Want Another ‘Theatrhythm Dragon Quest’ Trailer? Here You Go!

More gameplay goodness from the infinitely charming Theatrhythm series.

Over in Japan people will soon be getting Theatrhythm Dragon Quest, which is the latest entry in the surprisingly great Theatrhythm series. Now, a second trailer has been released for the game, though be warned that all text is in Japanese.

The trailer shows off even more of the awesome blend of rhythmic gameplay and the Dragon Quest universe, while also incorporating brand new mechanics into the formula. If you’ve played previous Theatrhythm games then you’ll know exactly what to expect with this game, but if you haven’t then you seriously need to change that. These games have rhythmic gameplay similar to the mechanics of Guitar Hero and Rock Band where you’re pressing buttons to the beat of songs, though a variety of different levels shake up the formula as you progress.

Check out the new trailer below!

Theatrhythm Dragon Quest is developed by Square Enix 1st Production Department and Indieszero exclusively for the 3DS. It will launch in Japan on March 26th, though a release date for the USA has yet be confirmed.
