The Tokyo Game Show has been the home of a lot of new announcements, but perhaps one of the biggest is the reveal of PlayStation’s Morpheus VR device’s name change. The new name for the device is now PlayStation VR, which is much more simple and to-the-point.
It’s to be expected, really, as when you’re trying to sell something to the general public you want the name to give as much information about what it is as possible. Project Morpheus tells you nothing, but PlayStation VR tells you just about all you need to know.
I mean, we wouldn’t want to have another Wii U situation on our hands now would we?
