Blizzard’s Overwatch Confirmed For PlayStation 4 And Xbox One

It was pretty much already known by everyone thanks to GameStop letting the cat out of the bag early, but now Blizzard has made it official: their new multiplayer shooter Overwatch is coming to consoles.

A listing for the game on Battle.net has appeared called the Origins Edition that is currently up for pre-order. It appears that the links aren’t live yet, however, so we’ll have to wait to hear more from Blizzard when they will.

Overwatch is currently set to launch in Spring 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Overwatch Closed Beta Starts October 27th

Blizzard’s closed beta for multiplayer shooter Overwatch is coming very soon, as the company has revealed that it will begin on the 27th of this month.

Seeing as it’s a closed beta, you’ll need to sign up (right here) and hope that you get picked to join in on the action. The beta will initially begin with limited pool of testers to get feedback, then bring a lot more people in for stress tests.

From there, Blizzard will call for even larger numbers of gamers on beta test weekends, with the first one beginning early next month.

Blizzard’s ‘Overwatch’ Beta Will Begin This Fall

Sign up for the beta now plus check out two new characters.

Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that their upcoming multiplayer shooter Overwatch will have a beta that begins this Fall. The news was revealed at the ongoing PAX East event, where the devs shed more light on the upcoming game.

Two new characters were also unveiled at the event, who are named Zarya and Jesse McCree. Zarya wields a particle cannon and is big and muscular, while Jesse McCree has a wild west look to him as he wields a six shooter. Check out the gameplay vids for both characters below.

As for the beta, the participants will be selected from a list of those who sign up right here. I’d do it as soon as possible if you want a shot at getting in, if I were you!
