Batman: Arkham Knight PC Interim Patch Now In Testing

Rocksteady Studios’ PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight launched in such a terrible state that it was pulled from store shelves, with the company focusing all of its efforts to work up a patch to fix it. An interim patch was promised to be released before the major patch that would fix everything launched in a few months, though news had been quiet on that front.

Now, a spokesperson from the company posted the following on the Warner Bros. forums:

“We are happy to confirm that we are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks. We’ll be sure to report back in the next two weeks on how the testing is coming along.”

As for what this particular patch will fix, things like improved frame rate, performance, FPS, texture resolution and much more is expected to be included. Hopefully it will be enough to at least allow owners of the game to play it, as who knows when the big patch will be ready to download.
