Journey Launches On PlayStation 4 Today In 1080p/60fps

Thatgamecompany’s acclaimed PlayStation 3 adventure game Journey is making its way to the PlayStation 4 today with shiny new 1080p/60fps graphics.

While the game will be exactly the same outside of the technical improvements the game also supports cross-buy, meaning that those who already own the PlayStation 3 version can upgrade to the PlayStation 4 version for free. Check out the launch trailer for the PlayStation 4 version of the game directly below.

Looks Like Journey’s Arriving On PlayStation 4 This Month

While previous rumors suggested that the critically-acclaimed adventure game called Journey would be making its way to PlayStation 4 in 2015, it looks like it could be headed for the console as soon as this month.

According to the Docs for the PlayStation site the game could end up being released on July 21st for PlayStation 4, which would line up with the previous rumors suggesting it would release mid-2015. Very little is expected to change from the PlayStation 3 version, though the framerate will be doubled from 30 to 60.

The PlayStation 4 version of Journey was announced at last year’s Gamescom, which you can check out the trailer for directly below.
