Have Another Look At Linkle In The New Hyrule Warriors Legends Video

Yes, the whole Linkle thing is really happening and a female version of Link will be playable for the new Hyrule Warriors Legends game for the 3DS. If the first look wasn’t extensive enough for you then I’ve got you covered, as a new video has been released that shows a bit more of the more feminine Link.

As for how Linkle stands out from Link, she is a more nimble character and utilizes two crossbows. She doesn’t hit as hard as her male counterpart, but speed players will definitely have a lot more fun playing as her. She joins Skull Kid, Tetra and the King of Red Lions as new characters being added to the Hyrule Warriors roster.

Hyrule Warriors Legends launches exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on January 21st, 2016. An official release date for the USA version of the game has not been disclosed as of the publication of this article.

Ganondorf Wreaks Havoc In The New Hyrule Warriors Legends Trailer

Hyrule Warriors Legends features plenty of good guys to control, but there’s also some baddies thrown into the mix for good measure. For example: this new trailer shows off the series’ most iconic bad guy, Ganondorf, absolutely demolishing everything in his path.

He seems to control very similarly as he did in last year’s Hyrule Warriors for Wii U, being a bit slow but making up for it with a huge attack range and tons of raw power. It might not feel morally right controlling Ganondorf, but once you’ve tasted the power it’s hard to resist!

Hyrule Warriors Legends launches exclusively for the 3DS on March 25th, 2016.

Female Link (Linkle) Officially Revealed For Hyrule Warriors Legends

There were rumors swirling around a while ago regarding a female Link being added to Hyrule Warriors Legends, and now we know those rumors are true as Nintendo has revealed Linkle.

You read that correctly: her name is actually Linkle. She basically looks like Zelda in Link-ish attire and wields dual crossbows.

Hyrule Warriors Legends’ 3D Mode Will Only Work With The New 3DS

Hyrule Warriors Legends will be making its way to the Nintendo 3DS, but when it does it may have some limitations depending on which version of the system you are playing it on. If you’re interested in playing the game in 3D, then your only option to do that will be by playing on the New Nintendo 3DS.

This information was revealed by 4Gamer before it was translated by Perfectly Nintendo. It was taken from an interview with the producer of Hyrule Warriors Legends, Yosuke Hayashi.

While this restriction will be a bummer for anybody who doesn’t have a New 3DS (psst… ME), fans will be glad to know that everything else will be the same regardless of what you play on. DLC codes for unlocking Toon Link, Tetra and the King of Hyrule for Wii U’s Hyrule Warriors will come packaged in all versions of Hyrule Warriors Legends, while Amiibo support was also revealed.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is set to launch exclusively for the 3DS and will launch in the first half of 2016.
