Second Season Of Telltale’s Game Of Thrones Series Confirmed

To the surprise of nobody really, Telltale Games has confirmed that the first season of their Game of Thrones series that just concluded will be getting a sequel.

Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and said the following:

“When we initially announced the series in 2013, we let everyone know this would be a multi-title, multiyear partnership with HBO. After this week’s finale, I’m pleased to officially confirm that there will be a second season of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series, and that it’s currently in development.”

Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones series wasn’t as highly-regarded as some of their other series, especially as most were left disappointed with the season finale. Still, the popularity of the brand is still huge and fans will always be ravenous for more Game of Thrones. I personally would love to have another Back to the Future season, as that remains my favorite of the bunch.

The season from Telltale Games follows the popular novels and HBO TV series from the perspective of House Forrester. As is the case with the show and book series, war is coming and the stakes have never been higher.

Fifth Episode Of Telltale’s Game Of Thrones Series Coming Later This Month

Telltale Games’ episodic story set in the world of Game of Thrones will be continuing later this month with the fifth episode, which is called A Nest Of Vipers. This is pretty last-minute stuff, considering we’re already halfway through the month and all.

The news came via Telltale Games’ twitter account, where they also shared a handful of new screenshots from the upcoming episode. Check them out directly below.

A Nest of Vipers is set to be the penultimate episode in Telltale Games’ six-episode series, which is notable considering that a standard Telltale Games series last just 5 episodes. The new episode will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, iOS and Android.

Game Of Thrones – Episode 4: Sons Of Winter Launches Next Week

The fourth part of the six part series is coming next week.

Telltale Games has confirmed that the next episode in their series based on Game of Thrones, called Sons of Winter, will launch on May 26th.

In the latest episode the Forresters well-being is on the line, with nobody associated with the family being safe. I’ll hold off on the full synopsis for those who have not experienced the previous episodes in the series.

Sons of Winter is the fourth part in what is a six part series and will be coming to PC and PSN on May 26th. Xbox users will get the game the next day on May 27th, followed by Android and iOS users who will get the game on May 28th.

Telltale’s Game Of Thrones Episode 4 Coming Soon

Get ready for another episode of Telltale Games’ take on the massively popular Game of Thrones series.

The next episode in developer Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones series is coming to consoles and PC very soon. The latest episode is called Sons of Winter.

This news was released via their official website where they released a synopsis while also releasing screenshots. Here’s what they had to say about the new episode, though avoid reading the quote if you haven’t played the previous episodes:

“In Episode 4, the fate of the scattered Forresters hangs in the balance, and no one allied with the family is safe. An unexpected meeting offers Rodrik a new opportunity to free Ironrath from its Whitehill stranglehold, but with young Ryon Forrester still held prisoner, his next moves are critical. Gared must abandon Castle Black and venture beyond the Wall in search of the mysterious North Grove, risking encounters with Wildlings and worse. In King’s Landing, the population is reeling from a recent royal death, and Mira must step carefully in an increasingly complex game of politics where secrets are traded as currency. Far away in Essos, Asher infiltrates the slave city of Meereen at the behest of Daenerys Targaryen, but will the friendship he holds dear break under the strain of a mission that raises memories best forgotten?”

The previous episodes in the series have been released on a variety of different platforms; such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, iOS and Android. You can check back here when a release date for four has been confirmed.
