New Video Game Releases (September 29th – October 5th, 2014)

It’s time for some serious gaming to be done.

Now this is what I’m talking about! We have a handful of highly-anticipated games this week, with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2 both releasing to solid reviews. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments also got solid reviews, marking the first time that the series has made its way to next-gen consoles. If you’re into DLC then the final installment in Dark Souls II‘s trilogy of DLC is out now. The big one, though, is the release of Super Smash Bros. on 3DS, marking a new era of smash. Forza Horizon 2 Gameplay Shown + Forza Motorsport 5 Gets Nürburgring Track Free

Forza Horizon 2 was shown off at E3 today and showed off a slew of new features. You can create clubs with up to 1000 players, and a new gameplay trailer was also revealed. Check that out below. 

Forza Horizon 2 will be heading to Xbox One on September 30th, though the Xbox 360 release date is unconfirmed due to the fact that it’s being developed by a different company.
