Fire Emblem Fates May Be Getting One Bundled Package In North America

The Fire Emblem series is hot off of the success of the game that potentially saved it from being put to sleep, Fire Emblem Awakening. While that game was the biggest success that the series had ever seen stateside, it’s definitely not as big as it is here as it is over seas.

Fire Emblem Fates

That’s why it would make more sense for the upcoming release of Fire Emblem Fates (which has two different versions each with a unique story) to release as one bundle here and that could end up happening now. Nintendo Life spotted a listing on Amazon for the game which is a single release, collecting both the Birthright and Conquest games in one package.

However, you need to take this with a grain of salt considering it’s only speculation from an Amazon listing, but still it’s something to keep an eye on. I would personally rather have a package that contains both of the stories in one, as I feel like I’m not getting the full experience otherwise. Hopefully that ends up being the case and we get two for the price of one!

Looks Like The West Is Getting Two Versions Of Fire Emblem Fates, Too

We knew for a while that the Japanese release of Fire Emblem Fates would be getting two games with two different perspectives of the same story, but it seemed like that might not be the case for us in the west. However, it has just been revealed that we’ll be getting a similar release, as well.

We now know that the two different versions of the game are called Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest and Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright. Amazon currently has both games listed with a $40 price tag and a 12/31/16 placeholder release date. Click right here and right here to be brought to both versions’ product page on Amazon.

As mentioned previously, each of these games will contain two sides of the same story, but each experience will be wholly unique. Some characters will appear in both games, but the journey that you experience throughout each campaign will be wildly different. Check out the E3 trailer for Fire Emblem Fates below.

Check Out 30 Minutes Of Gameplay For Fire Emblem Fates

Thanks to yesterday’s Nintendo E3 digital event we know that the next game in the Fire Emblem series will be called Fire Emblem Fates. However, we didn’t get to see any gameplay to see what the game was really all about.

Now, thanks to Nintendo Treehouse Live, the curtain has finally been pulled back on the gameplay. Unsurprisingly, it looks very Fire Emblem-y! Check out the video directly below.

New Fire Emblem Gets Western Title And Trailer

We’ve seen bits and pieces of the next Fire Emblem game for 3DS, though we’ve now learned that the game will have a different title when it releases in the USA.

While the game will be called Fire Emblem If overseas, stateside the game will be called Fire Emblem Fates. In my opinion, that is a much better titles as having “If” as the title always seemed weird to me.

Outside of the new name we also got some new gameplay to check out via a new trailer. The game still looks awesome and I can’t wait to check it out when it launches for the 3DS next year.
