Check Out The Creepy Setting Of Vampyr

The release of Dontnod’s follow-up to Life is Strange, Vampyr, is still a ways off with a tentative release window of 2017, but that hasn’t stopped some new concept art being released that shows off the game’s creepy European setting.

The game is being coined as an RPG, though it will have many of the more episodic adventure elements that were present in Life is Strange. There’s also been some talk of the moral dilemmas that pop up as a result of being a doctor who is now also a vampire. I can definitely see where that might cause some problems in day-to-day life.

Vampyr will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC at some point in 2017.

Life Is Strange Coming To Retail January 2016

Life Is Strange just wrapped up its final episode recently to end the game’s first season, though for those who haven’t played it yet I have good news.

Developer Dontnod has just revealed that all 5 episodes of the game will be getting a retail release early next year in the form of a limited edition. The set includes a 32 page artbook, the complete soundtrack, the original score and a full director’s commentary.

Life Is Strange Limited Edition will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 19th, 2016.

The Finale Launch Trailer For Life Is Strange Is Right Here

The initial season of Square Enix and Dontnod’s teen sci fi game Life Is Strange comes to a close tomorrow, and a trailer has been released to tease fans on what’s coming.

The last episode is called Polarized and you can check out a quick blurb of the episode’s events below:

“Max learns that time is impossible to control as she moves inexorably towards the most agonising decision of her life. Arcadia Bay, meanwhile, is preparing to weather a huge storm as Life is Strange comes to a gripping and gut wrenching conclusion.”

Season Finale Of Life Is Strange Coming October 20th

The conclusion of the first season of Life is Strange will release on October 20th, developer Dontnod has revealed.

Life Is Strange Finale

The news was shared via a blog post on the devs website where they said the following:

“Many things can change in the lead up to release, [the] team are working really hard to try and hit this date. We know the wait may be a bit longer than some of you were hoping for but we want to ensure Episode 5 is the best it can be.”

The first episode of Life is Strange launched in January of this year, with the typical gaps between episodes being two months. However, the gap between episodes 4 and 5 marks the biggest gap between episodes the series has seen yet at nearly 3 months.

Life Is Strange Episode 4 Launches Next Week

The fourth installment in the episodic adventure Life Is Strange will be coming next week, developer Dontnod has revealed.

Life Is Strange

This information comes just as the series passed one million units sold, which is solid for a new IP with such a – ahem – strange premise. The dev is hoping to make a second season with a new cast of characters and setting, which certainly isn’t out of the question considering how solid sales have been for the series thus far.

A launch trailer for Life is Strange Episode 4 was also released, and you can check that out via the video directly below.

Episodes Of ‘Life Is Strange’ Will Release Every 6 Weeks

Each episode of developer Dontnod’s Life Is Strange will have a sturdy release schedule.

Life Is Strange is all set to release the first of its proposed 5 episodes on January 30th, which will be available to purchase for $5 individually or as part of a $20 season pass that gets you all the episodes.

The problem with many episodic adventures, however, is that the release of the subsequent episodes are always unknown and uneven. Thankfully, Life Is Strange developer Dontnod is assuring everyone that the rest of the episodes will release once every 6 weeks. So, you not only have plenty of time to play through each episode, but you also won’t be waiting an eternity for the next entry (coughKENTUCKYROUTEZEROcough).

Life Is Strange is developed for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The first episode is titled Chrysalis.

First Part Of ‘Life Is Strange’ Launching Next Month

The first part of Life Is Strange will launch on January 30th, with new episodes being released every six weeks.

Developer Dontnod’s Life Is Strange is going to be releasing in a 5-part episodic format, with the first part releasing on January 30th. The episode will be available to download on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

You will be able to download the episodes individually or as part of a season pass. Individual episodes will cost $4.99 each, while the season pass will cost $4.99 for all five episodes. These episodes are expected to be released every six weeks.

Life Is Strange is shaping up to be a more artistic and indie-leaning experience that has certainly garnered quite a bit of buzz. It follows the story of Maxine Caulfield, who is a photography student who discovers that she has the ability rewind time whenever she wants. Check out the reveal trailer below.
