It was pretty much already known by everyone thanks to GameStop letting the cat out of the bag early, but now Blizzard has made it official: their new multiplayer shooter Overwatch is coming to consoles.
A listing for the game on Battle.net has appeared called the Origins Edition that is currently up for pre-order. It appears that the links aren’t live yet, however, so we’ll have to wait to hear more from Blizzard when they will.
Overwatch is currently set to launch in Spring 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Blizzard’s closed beta for multiplayer shooter Overwatch is coming very soon, as the company has revealed that it will begin on the 27th of this month.
Seeing as it’s a closed beta, you’ll need to sign up (right here) and hope that you get picked to join in on the action. The beta will initially begin with limited pool of testers to get feedback, then bring a lot more people in for stress tests.
From there, Blizzard will call for even larger numbers of gamers on beta test weekends, with the first one beginning early next month.
Blizzard began their 2015 Gamescom press conference with a bang, as they announced that their now legendary MMORPG World of Warcraft is getting yet another expansion: Legion.
As for what can be expected in this new expansion, fans will have a new class called Demon Hunter to try out, a new level cap of 110, new raids and dungeons, a new honor system and much more. If you’re still playing World of Warcraft or stopped playing a while ago, this new expansion might have just what you need to dive back in again.
According to Blizzard, this expansion will let us see things through Demon Hunter Illidan’s eyes, which will delve into the story of the Demon Hunters and their muddy past. The narrative is set to involve the Black Temple, with several comparisons to previous expansion Burning Crusade being made.

Blizzard’s new MMO Heroes of the Storm has been loved by just about everyone who has played it, and now they’ve got a new offer to try and get some players into the game (like me). If you register a new account for Heroes of the Storm from today until August 4th, you’ll get a Stimpack bonus that is essentially an XP boost.
Even if you have an account on Heroes of the Storm, you can just create another or play in a different region to get this cool little bonus. Stimpacks cost $3.99 on their own, so this isn’t a massive gift but it’s still nice to have. Now I just need to register an account and see what this thing’s all about…
Sign up for the beta now plus check out two new characters.
Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that their upcoming multiplayer shooter Overwatch will have a beta that begins this Fall. The news was revealed at the ongoing PAX East event, where the devs shed more light on the upcoming game.
Two new characters were also unveiled at the event, who are named Zarya and Jesse McCree. Zarya wields a particle cannon and is big and muscular, while Jesse McCree has a wild west look to him as he wields a six shooter. Check out the gameplay vids for both characters below.
As for the beta, the participants will be selected from a list of those who sign up right here. I’d do it as soon as possible if you want a shot at getting in, if I were you!
