A VR First-Person Shooter Based On John Wick In The Works

Starbreeze is working on a virtual reality first-person shooter based on the recent (and excellent) John Wick action movie. They’re working with WEVR on what they are calling a “fully immersive VR experience.”

John Wick VR

The game is being developed by Grab, who has previously worked on both mobile and VR games. Starbreeze is planning on publishing the game across multiple VR platforms, which I would assume includes the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus.

While an exact title for the game has not been decided, the game is expected to launch in Spring 2016.

New Info Revealed On Shovel Knight: Plague Of Shadows DLC

Shovel Knight is an incredible game that everyone should play, which they have no excuse not to now seeing as it’s literally on every major platform. However, developer Yacht Club Games promised that a lot more free content is on the way and now a new video has been released detailing the upcoming Plague of Shadows DLC.

In this new DLC you’ll be able to customize Plague Knight and change the arc of his projectile attacks, while he also has┬áthe ability to double jump and has some special moves unique to him. The DLC will feature a new story and paths to take, while an all new challenge mode will also be included.

There’s a bunch more stuff coming for the game in the future, as well, so it’s good to see that Shovel Knight will be staying in the conversation for at least a while longer.

Xbox One Getting Neverwinter: Elemental Evil Expansion Next Month

The Xbox One version of Neverwinter has been lagging behind its PC counterpart in terms of expansions, though it looks like the developer is trying to fix that problem with its latest expansion.

Neverwinter Elemental Evil

The game’s sixth expansion, called Elemental Evil, will come to the Xbox One next month and will be incorporating the additions of the four smaller expansions that were only released for PC: Elemental Evil, Fury of the Feywild, Shadowmantle, and Curse of Icewind Dale.

This is great news, especially considering that over 2 million people play the game on Xbox One. It’s never good to leave that big of a chunk of your fanbase out in the cold like that, and next month that will no longer be the case.

Portland Bookstore Hilariously Zings The Assassin’s Creed Series

The Assassin’s Creed series is notorious for launching with multiple bugs on day one, and a bookstore in Portland, Oregon called Powell Books found a great way to poke fun at that while also tooting their own merchandise.

As you can see from the picture above, some great person put a little sign under the Assassin’s Creed novelizations that informs everyone that the books are not a buggy mess when you open them up. You’ll be able to read it all the way through without any weird glitches or crashes, and there won’t be any kind of software patches that you’ll have to install along the way.

Whoever came up with this is a damn genius.
