Is This The Release Date For Star Wars: Battlefront?

Star Wars: Battlefront is being shown off at the ongoing Star Wars Celebration, though a release date for the game was not announced yet.

However, the website’s source code contains the following text:

“The latest news and updates for Star Wars Battlefront. Available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.”

November 17th is a Tuesday, which suggests this is legitimate as that is the day that many major games launch. It also makes sense as it would arrive just about a month before the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens, capitalizing on the buzz that that movie has.

Along with this potentially leaked release date is two new screenshots that show off a character gliding through the woods and a stock image of a Stormtrooper. You can check both of those out below. Star Wars Battlefront WoodsStar Wars BattlefrontStar Wars: Battlefront is developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A debut trailer for the game is expected to be released today at the Star Wars Celebration, so be sure to check back for that.

The First Trailer For Star Wars Battlefront Will Arrive On April 17th

It won’t be long before everyone sees gameplay that they will find… most impressive.

EA has revealed that they will share the very first trailer and gameplay footage of their highly-anticipated Star Wars Battlefront on April 17th. It will be shown at a panel during Star Wars Celebration, because there are people out there that are actually *that* into it!

While we aren’t sure exactly what it is the trailer will show us, it is expected that people who attend the event will be seeing a lot more gameplay footage than the trailer will reveal. EA posted the following message on its Star Wars website:

“It has been hard to keep these secrets from the community, but we’re excited to announce that we will be hosting a panel at Celebration on April 17th, kicking off at 10:30AM PT, where we will debut the official reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront. Make sure to get to the show early to secure your seat. But that is not all… All attendees will have a chance to see gameplay behind closed doors during the show at our official booth along with a few other activities starting that Friday.”

There’s no question that Star Wars is coming back in full force (thank you, thank you) this year with the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens hitting theaters this December, as well as a ton of books that will bridge the gap between the original trilogy and the new one. Star Wars Battlefront is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this Christmas.

Star Wars: Battlefront Gameplay Debut Happening Next Month

Don’t worry Star Wars fans, you won’t have to wait much longer for the reveal of Star Wars: Battlefront.

EA has finally broken the silence and confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront will be making its gameplay debut at next month’s Star Wars Celebration.

This particular event will be taking place in Anaheim, California, between April 16th and April 19th. The publisher said the following in a blog post regarding the game’s debut:

“You’ve been patient young Padawans, and soon your patience will be rewarded. We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.”

Although an official release date for the game has yet to be revealed, Star Wars: Battlefront is expected to release by the end of the year.

Star Wars Battlefront Coming Spring 2015

EA and Dice have revealed the first in-game footage for the highly-anticipated Star Wars Battlefront at the company’s E3 press conference.

Form the gameplay trailer we are able to see many of the iconic imagery from the series; such as Stormtroopers and Snowspeeders in environments taken straight from the classic films.

However, what impressed me the most was how dedicated that staff was in recreating every nook and cranny of popular locations from the franchise. The crew actually went to many of the locations found in the movie and studied the original models used to make much of the machinery in the game.

Star Wars Battlefront will be making its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in Spring 2015.
