The ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ Launch Trailer Has Arrived

God dammit this looks so much better than Final Fantasy XIII.

This week Final Fantasy fans will hopefully be getting a console Final Fantasy game that can finally remove the bad taste in their mouths left by the Final Fantasy XIII series. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD marks a new direction for the series, with a more mature story and pretty gruesome combat.

This launch trailer shows us much of what we have already seen (which is damn impressive, if you ask me!), but this one definitely gives you the full package. Give it a watch below.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is developed by HexaDrive and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It launches in the USA on 3/17/15, in Japan on 3/19/15 and in Europe on 3/20/15.

The New ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ Trailer Is Bloody And Brilliant

Have a new and bloody look at Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD launches this month for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and a new trailer has been revealed for the game that is the best one yet.

What amazes me about this trailer is how bloody and grim it is. While it has the visual aesthetic of other Final Fantasy games, there’s tons of blood splatter going on that gives it a much different vibe compared to other games in the series. This game features a much dark story and setting than what most fans are used to, and I’m stoked to see what it brings to the table.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD launches on March 17th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the new trailer below.

Here’s A Graphics Comparison Of ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ And The PSP Version

Yup, that is one big improvement!

While previous footage of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has looked great considering it was originally a PSP game, we had never gotten a side-by-side comparison showing off just how much of a graphical jump we were getting.

To remedy that problem, Square Enix has released a new video that puts several scenes from the original PSP game and current-gen remasters and the results are very impressive. What’s immediately noticeable is that the colors are much more clear and vibrant. In comparing the two versions it almost looks like the PSP version had a muddy filter over it, with the new HD version making several areas look completely different. Check out the comparison video below.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is developed by HexaDrive for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is set to launch on March 17th, 2015. If you pre-order the game you will be receiving a demo for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, though that game does not have an official release date at this time.

These New ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ Screenshots Are Epic

Check out some awesome new screenshots for Final fantasy Type-0 HD.

While a lot of the buzz surrounding Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is due to the fact that the game is being bundled with a demo of Final Fantasy XV, many are forgetting that the game itself looks pretty damn good all on its own.

A new batch of screenshots were released today that showcase some truly epic locales, battles and characters. Many of the fan-favorite summons like Ifrit and Shiva make an appearance, which is always a good thing. You can check out the cool screenshots near the bottom of this post.

This game was originally a PSP game that only released in Japan back in 2011, never getting a release stateside due to the release being very late in the PSP’s lifespan. This updated version will include many graphical upgrades to make the game fit in better with new-gen games, while also containing all previous content contained within the original game.

‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ Trailer Features Lots Of War

Yup, looks better than anything Final Fantasy has released lately.

Stuff is going down in the latest Final Fantasy Type-0 HD trailer, as we witness evil dudes trying to take over the world and the good dudes trying to stop ’em. Nothing all that mind-blowing, but it certainly looks more interesting than anything the series has been doing lately. Check it out below.

While I am excited to see if this game can shake up the Final Fantasy formula in an interesting way, I can’t help but comment on the graphics. The graphics are expected to be dated since this was a PSP game that is being remastered and put on current-gen systems, but I just hope it doesn’t detract from the experience too much.

An Extended ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ Trailer Will Appear In US Cinemas

Catch an extended Type-0 HD trailer at a theater near you.

If you’re planning on catching a movie any time soon, you may just come across an extended preview for next year’s Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. A new trailer has been revealed, which is being billed as the Extended Cinema Trailer. Who says movie theaters can’t give gaming some love every now and then?

This new trailer adds a bit of content to the trailer that was revealed at a Square Enix Presents event with the game’s director, Hajime Tabata. The trailer also reminds everyone that pre-ordering the game  will net gamers a playable demo of the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XV that is set to launch towards the back end of 2015.

New ‘Final Fantasy XV’ & ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD’ Screenshots

Some sweet new screenshots from the future of Final Fantasy.

Next year gamers will be getting two new Final Fantasy games to play around with, and to keep the hype train rolling Square Enix has released some gorgeous new screenshots for both games.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a remaster of the popular PSP game that only released in Japan in 2011. The game looks really good, though considering that it’s a PSP game there is only so much they can do to make it stand on its own with next-gen games. It definitely isn’t as jaw-dropping as the next Final Fantasy game we’ll be talking about, but it will certainly do. Check out the gallery for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD below.

Now for the game that everyone has been waiting many years for, Final Fantasy XV. We saw from the TGS trailer that this game was gorgeous, and these screenshots taken from the trailer further solidifies that fact. This game is shaping up to be one of the most visually-striking games ever, which is something that Square Enix is known for delivering. I’m just hoping they can back up the visuals with good characters and story this time around. Check out the gallery for Final Fantasy XV below.
