Mafia 3 Rumors Begin As Take-Two Registers New Domains

Take-Two Interactive has gotten the rumor mill spinning as it appears they have registered domains for Mafia 3.

According to the above image, Take-Two Interactive have registered,, and I don’t know about you, but something here tells me that Mafia 3 is in the works. Don’t quote me, though!

This would gel with previous rumors of a third game in the series being in the works, with information regarding Mafia 3 going back as far as March 2012. Not only that, but earlier this year the voice actor of Mafia 2‘s Vito Scaletta teased that the next game might be announced soon.

Nintendo’s New Membership Service Launching This Fall

Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata dropped some new information regarding their new membership service that will be replacing Club Nintendo. The biggest news is that the service is set to launch this Fall.

However, Iwata also briefly hinted at what me might expect from this new service. Speaking during an investor meeting, Iwata said the following regarding value between physical and digital versions of their games:

“We know some aren’t satisfied without a difference [between physical and digital versions]. We plan to provide some benefit with the new membership service starting in the fall.”

The discussion of physical vs. digital came up when Iwata discussed the fact that Nintendo typically does not discount their digital games while most other companies do. Rather than changing their original stance they are going to be incorporating something new to make the purchases a better value.

Two New Weapons Will Unlock In Splatoon Tonight

Splatoon’s weapon count is growing, as tonight will unlock two new weapons to be used in the game. They are expected to unlock at 10 PM Eastern time / 7 PM Pacific.

The two new weapons in question are the Carbon Roller and the Custom Dual Squelcher. The weapons are completely free and more than likely will not even require you to update your game in order to use them. Scroll down to check out images of both of the new weapons.

The World Ends With You Makes Triumphant Return To iOS App Store

The World Ends With You had been missing from the iOS App Store for over four months, but now it is finally back. The game was removed from the store due to numerous complaints from users that the game did not work with the latest iOS 8 operating system.

While things like this happen from time to time, this particular situation got far more attention due to the fact that it is a Square Enix game that also came with a $18-$20 price tag. Luckily, the game has now been completely fixed and can be redownloaded by anyone who previously purchased the game or bought for the very first time.

The Judgment:

I’m glad that it’s back, but releasing a game that doesn’t function properly and then rip it away from buyers for 4 months is a very bad move. Hopefully Square Enix will learn from the mistakes they made with this game and be better prepared for whenever iOS 9 hits.

New Bombshell Gameplay Trailer Released

3D Realms’ upcoming isometric shooter Bombshell has received a brand new gameplay trailer, which was originally shown off at E3.

In the trailer we get a closer look at the femme fatale herself, Bombshell. In typical 3D Realms fashion, there are lots of aliens, lots of quips and lots of one-liners. The trailer also claims that the game will be playable at the upcoming QuakeCon.

Check out the new gameplay trailer for Bombshell directly below.

The judgment:

I’m actually really looking forward to this one. I remember reading that this game originally starred Duke Nukem, himself, but was sidelined due to some legal issues. So, they swapped out Duke for Bombshell and now everything’s in the clear. Hopefully this one turns out alright.

‘Fallout Shelter’ The #1 Game On App Store With 70M Daily Play Sessions

In case it wasn’t completely clear to everyone, people really love the new Fallout Shelter iOS game. In fact, people love it so much that it is currently the #1 game on the App Store with over 70 million plays per day.

Fallout Shelter

These numbers are especially impressive when you realize that the game has even toppled the long-reigning #1 Candy Crush, which has been a phenomenon for years now. It’s become a massive hit in over 40 countries across the globe, and it shows no signs of slowing down.

Here’s what Bethesda’s tame director Todd Howard said on the matter:

We play games on our phones all the time, and have always wanted to make one. To have our first mobile game be enjoyed by so many is stunning. It just shows that gamers appreciate more depth and being treated fairly.

Fallout Shelter is currently available for the iPhone and iPad, with the Android version expected to launch in a few months.
