You (Yes, YOU!) Can Choose The Upcoming ‘Sunset Overdrive’ DLC

YOU choose Sunset Overdrive’s upcoming DLC.

New content is on the way for Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive, though the developers are letting the fans pick the details. New costumes and weapons are on the horizon for the Xbox One exclusive, and fan feedback will decide not only which weapons and costumes will be featured in the DLC, but it will also be worked into future story-related DLC.

Voting will be open every second week through the Sunset TV series, which you can access in the game at certain areas. First up is a choice between Buck National and Floyd costumes, and the winning character’s outfits will be available to all players for free. As mentioned previously, this will lead to a story DLC, which is currently set to be released early next year.

Check out the video below for all of the juicy details, and be sure to head into Sunset City to cast your vote!

‘Super Smash Bros. For Wii U’ Sells Nearly 500,000 Copies In Just 3 Days In The US

Holy consumerism, Batman!

Super Smash Bros. For Wii U was, without question, the most highly-anticipated Wii U game of the year. However, I’m not sure anyone expected it to sell quite as well as it reportedly did. The latest installment in the fighting series sold a whopping 490,000 copies in only 3 days in the US, making it the fastest-selling Wii U game in the US ever.

Nintendo of America’s Scott Moffitt said the following on Nintendo’s holiday strategy:

“The Nintendo holiday is off to a great start, but there’s a lot of work left to do and a few more surprises in store for our fans. With great deals coming on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and great content like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker launching next week, Nintendo will offer shoppers the best combination of fun and value this holiday season.”

With all this being said, Nintendo is certainly turning things around with the Wii U. These past few months have seen the system dominating in terms of critically-acclaimed games, and with 2015’s impressive slate of upcoming games it looks like things will only get better from here.

Is ‘ZombiU 2’ In The Works?

ZombiU could be getting a sequel next year.

The original ZombiU was a launch title for the Wii U, bringing surprisingly difficult and brutal survival horror to the normally family-friendly Nintendo. The game was generally well-received by critics, and though it isn’t the game that most say is a must-have for the system, it’s certainly one of the better survival horror games to come out in a good while.

Well, if a listing on Amazon France is to be believed, a sequel to the game is in the works. Titled ZombiU 2, the listing states that the game is set in New York instead of London this time around, and even lists Bandai Namco as the developer instead of the first game’s Ubisoft. This all has to be taken with a grain of salt, of course, as none of this information has been confirmed or denied as of this article’s publication.

What’s even more interesting is that, instead of just having a placeholder release date of December 31st, 2015, the game’s release date is listed very specifically as October 17th, 2015.

Telltale Games Reveals First ‘Tales From The Borderlands’ Episode Is Out Now

Telltale’s journey into Borderlands begins now!

We knew it was coming soon, but Telltale has gone and revealed that the first episode from Tales from the Borderlands is available to download now. The first episode, called Zer0 Sum is ready to download on PC, PS4 and PS3 right now, though it launches on Xbox One tomorrow and for Xbox 360 on December 3rd.

The cost of the first episode will be $5 in the USA on consoles, though a season pass for PlayStation will cost $20 and on Xbox will cost $15. The full season for PC gamers will cost $25.

The game is a collaboration between Gearbox and Telltale Games that is set before the events of Borderlands 2. The Borderlands series recently had released a game called Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, though it seems Telltale’s take is so far much better received.
