A New Pac-Man Game Is On the Way

shhPac-Man is making his way back to consoles, with a new game coming this fall. Namco Bandai has announced Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, which is based on the upcoming Disney XD show of the same name.shh

I don’t like the sound of this. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Pac-Man + Disney is probably going to = a giant steaming pile of Pac-Poop. Why does Disney have to go and ruin everything? Sure, Pac-Man hasn’t exactly fared well outside of Arcade games, but that doesn’t give some stupid channel the right to take a crap on my childhood. I will not have it. As I type this, I am planning an attack on Disney headquarters in which I will bring my Sega Genesis Pac-Man game and I will use it as a shining cartridge of doom to defeat all those who aim to soil the Pac-Man name.shh

Just for laughs, or if you were just trying to come up with a way to upset me, I will tell you that this game is coming to the Xbox 360PlayStation 3, and Wii U this fall. A separate side-scroller version will be released on the 3DS. HA! 3DS gets the shaft! Even though that game will probably be better than the console versions because it is at least sticking with 2D…shh

The word in the herd is that this game will focus on the Pac-World, which is a happy and peaceful place until the Netherworld ghosts come along and sh*t on the parade. It is also said that the game will include Mario-like platforming and ghost-chomping. Mario-like platforming? If I wanted Mario-like platforming I would JUST PLAY MARIO, DAMMIT! Who the hell does Pac-Man think he is these days? The guy is a freakin’ yellow turd who slides around a maze eating turd pellets and ghosts, not an Italian plumber!shh

Apparently, this classic in the making TV show, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is scheduled to premier sometime this year. No official release date has been announced because if there was one then I would have an exact date to carry out my revenge. Disney doesn’t want that… and I don’t blame them…
