The New Mighty No. 9 Trailer Brings The Humor

The reception to Mighty No. 9 has been pretty mixed after the game’s Kickstarter Campaign failed to match visual style of what is now in development, but where I’m coming from it still looks like it’ll be a fun time.

That’s only exemplified by this new trailer for the game in which a hilarious announcer talks about all of the features of the game, like a boss rush mode, challenge mode, online and more. Does it look revolutionary? Of course not, but as far as gameplay goes it’s looking pretty solid.

Mighty No. 9 is will launch on February 12th, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS and PC.

Ganondorf Wreaks Havoc In The New Hyrule Warriors Legends Trailer

Hyrule Warriors Legends features plenty of good guys to control, but there’s also some baddies thrown into the mix for good measure. For example: this new trailer shows off the series’ most iconic bad guy, Ganondorf, absolutely demolishing everything in his path.

He seems to control very similarly as he did in last year’s Hyrule Warriors for Wii U, being a bit slow but making up for it with a huge attack range and tons of raw power. It might not feel morally right controlling Ganondorf, but once you’ve tasted the power it’s hard to resist!

Hyrule Warriors Legends launches exclusively for the 3DS on March 25th, 2016.

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 3 Trailer And Release Date Revealed

The story of Minecraft continues as Telltale Games has revealed that the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is coming next week. The Episode is called The Last Place You Look and will be available on all available platforms simultaneously on November 24th.

Here’s a plot synopsis for the episode:

“Trapped and running out of time, Jesse and crew must discover a means to locate Soren, the final member of the Order of the Stone. They’ll see sights and wonders beyond belief, including the horrors lurking beneath the starless sky of The End. Only Soren’s knowledge can help push back the all-consuming Witherstorm, but will it be enough to save the world?”

Minecraft: Story Mode has definitely had a more light-hearted vibe compared to other current Telltale Games series like Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us. However, that might not be such a good thing as the reviews so far have been mixed.

Avalanche Shows Off Just Cause 3 In 4K

Just Cause 3 is aiming to be this year’s big open-world destruction game not too far off from last year’s Far Cry 4, and now the devs have released a new trailer showing off how good the game looks in 4K.

Unsurprisingly, it looks incredible. The amount of detail on display is phenomenal and the game’s world is just jaw dropping. Shame that we’ll have to blow up most of it, but it least we’ll be doing it in style!

Just Cause 3 launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 1st, 2015.

Watch Cloud Go Crazy In The New Dissidia Final Fantasy Trailer

Another day, another Dissidia Final Fantasy character trailer. This time the brief clip focuses on none other than fan-favorite Cloud Strife, and he unsurprisingly kicks the crap out of anybody in his way.

We not only get to see Cloud take it to his enemies in this clip, as we also get to check out the Midgar level that the action takes place in. The design of the level is incredible, perfectly capturing the grimy and ominous tone that the original area had.

Dissidia Final Fantasy will launch in Japanese arcades exclusively at first, though it is expected that the game will eventually see a release on current-generation consoles.

Japan’s Got A Pretty Adorable Commercial For Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

The mashup of the Mario & Luigi and the Paper Mario series is an adorable concept all on its own, but a new commercial that is running in Japan only solidifies that point.

In the ad we see a couple of little kids trying to get around various obstacles and being stumped, only to have Paper Mario help them out. It’s actually a really clever way to show off a lot of the mechanics of the game, as Paper Mario will help Mario & Luigi by doing things like becoming a parachute to save them from falling and becoming a sail for a ship.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is set to launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on January 22, 2016.
