Giant Shark Found In Battlefield 4?

Rumors have been swirling for months now that a giant shark called the Megalodon was hidden somewhere in Battlefield 4, and now the rumor has finally been proven true.

Thanks to this video by Jackfrags you can watch how to discover the Megalodon on the Parcel Storm map. What you have to do to summon the shark is to have 10 players surround the buoy.

Watch the video containing this massive shark below.

Easter Eggs can sometime be pretty dumb, but this thing is awesome. I can only imagine what it must be like to stumble upon something like that while playing the game. More developers should throw in awesome things like that for the more adventurous gamers out there.

LEGO The Hobbit To Add Third Film As DLC?

LEGO The Hobbit hits shelves next week and will take gamers on an adventure that will span the first two films in Peter Jackson’s three film Hobbit story. Many (including myself) wondered why they wouldn’t just wait a little while and release the game with as a package that included the entirety of Peter Jackson’s trilogy.

Well, if the following rumor is to be believed, it all makes more sense now. The Lego fan site Brick Fanatics reports that the developers of the game are planning on releasing the final part of the story, which is called There And Back Again, as DLC.

Reps from WB Games were questioned on whether or not this news was true, but they made no comment.

Condemn (OR) Condone:

I can see the developers doing this, as it is major DLC that is pretty much guaranteed to be purchased. However,  it’s a crappy move. As is, you are releasing a game that is incomplete, and you are then asking fans – who already forked over full price for the game, mind you – to pay more money for the game’s conclusion. That’s nasty – plain and simple.

Daylight Trailer #2 Is RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!

So, it was just announced that the upcoming horror game Daylight was delayed (boo!), but to tide everyone over developer Zombie Studios released a new trailer for the game. The trailer is ingeniously titled Daylight Trailer #2. Brilliant!

The trailer is about a minute long, but that’s all it takes to effectively bring the goose bumbs. The trailer informs you that someone is watching you, and all you have to do is look around to prove it. *shudders*

Check out the Daylight Trailer #2 below.

Condemn (OR) Condone:

As far as trailers go, this is one of the better ones. It’s short, but in that brief amount of time you really get the feeling that the crap is about to hit the fan and then go all over you. It looks like this will be another horror game that gets creepy atmosphere and tension right.

GTA Online: The High Life Coming This Spring

Rockstar Games has announced that a new update is on the way that will be adding a few new things to Grand Theft Auto 5’s online mode. This update will be known as The High Life.

The High Life adds the following:

  • High-end apartment options
  • Bullpup Rifle
  • New wardrobe items
  • Dinka Thrust Motorcycle
  • 3 new cars

Condemn (OR) Condone:

Considering this is just an update (read: free), this adds some pretty cool things to the table. It doesn’t sound like it will be anything that will add any serious value to the game, but it’s free so you can’t complain. Well, I guess you could, but then you’d be one of those jerks that gets something for free and scoffs at it. Don’t be a jerk!

ESRB Claims Persona 4 Is Coming To PS3

It looks like the ESRB have let slip a pretty big announcement today, as they have revealed that the critically-acclaimed Persona 4 will be making its way to the PS3.

The following is ESRB’s listing for the game:

This is a role-playing game in which players control a high school student who enters a mystical ‘TV World, ‘ saves lost souls who are trapped on the ‘Midnight Channel,’ and establishes bonds with town characters in order to develop ‘Personas.’ Personas, which are summoned through the use of tarot cards, are creatures that can perform special offensive and defensive moves to aid during battles against monsters. Combat is turn-based with numeric values and light effects indicating attack/damage inflicted. Pixilated blood spray is briefly depicted during battles, and colored bloodstains stain some walls and floors. Some female monsters (female Persona) are depicted with their breasts exposed, while other monsters have phallic-shaped heads and torsos. Other female Personas (e.g., ‘Succubus’) have sexual characteristics that are described in text: ‘They visit sleeping men and have sexual intercourse with them.’ Story elements also make references to alcohol, including a long scene in which the main characters hang out in a club and play ‘drinking games.’ Although alcohol is never consumed, the characters display the telltale signs of intoxication: slurred speech, staggered walking, and red faces. Profanity (e.g., sh*t, a*shole) can be heard in the dialogue.

Condemn (OR) Condone:

This is news that just about everyone is going to be raving about. This series is pretty much universally loved, and even though it’s a port of an older game it will still have a big audience. If this ends up being a port of the PS Vita version, Persona 4 Golden, then this would allow console gamers their first opportunity to play what many call the definitive edition of the game. Maybe now I’ll play the flippin’ thing so I won’t have to hang my head in shame anymore!

IGN’s Optimus Prime Titanfall April Fool’s Joke Is Hilarious

Before I went to bed last night, I said to myself, “Ok, when I wake up tomorrow I need to be prepared for all of the bogus headlines that I’m going to see.” Some websites simply warned others to watch out, but a few actually went ahead and pulled a prank. IGN was one of those sites, and today they claimed that Optimus Prime would be available in Titanfall’s next DLC.

The video is about a minute long and shows Optimus Prime and a voice actor doing his voice hilariously as he lays waste to all of those in his way. Check out the video right here.

Condemn (OR) Condone:

Alright, so this thing is very obviously fake, but that is what  find to be so funny about. In my honest opinion, with the state of the Titanfall being so fragmented and jumbled, they could totally throw in Optimus Prime at this point without confusing anything anymore than it already is.
