The upcoming Need For Speed reboot is going to feature some seriously impressive graphics, though now Ghost Games has released some comparison screenshots to show just how impressive they really are.
While the screenshot above is rendered in-engine rather than in-game, it’s still incredibly impressive that they’re able to achieve graphics of this kind of quality. It’s obvious to me that the left one is the game and the right one is real life, but the point is that if you were just casually scrolling by you might not have thought so.
Here’s what the dev said regarding the graphics:
“Our aim with this process was to make use of the Physically Based Rendering (PBR) capabilities of our Frostbite engine to create accurate real-world materials, surfaces and lighting to reach a life-like visual image.”
Need For Speed is set to launch on November 3rd, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
