New Batman: Arkham Knight PS4 Patch Fixes Leaderboards Issues

While the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has been getting all of the heat due to its myriad of problems that popped immediately following its launch, that doesn’t mean that the other versions of the game are completely glitch free. In fact, Rocksteady has just released a new patch for the PlayStation 4 version that brings the game up to 1.03 that fixes the game’s leaderboards issues.

According to the patch notes this is simply fixing the failed connection error that users were receiving when trying to access the leaderboards for AR challenges and Gotham’s Greatest. Still, it is expected that there will be some issues at first as the updated leaderboards take a while to repopulate.

I was recently having trouble getting the update file itself to even download, but it has now finished for me and everything regarding the leaderboards seems to be going smoothly. If only the fixes were that easy for the PC version, eh?

Oops! Nolan North Accidentally Confirms The Last Of Us 2

The man behind the voice of Uncharted’s Nathan Drake has accidentally let slip that The Last Of Us 2 is in the works during a Q& A panel at MetroCon.

Nolan North was just casually discussing what Naughty Dog has been up to when he reveals that he knows they’re working on The Last Of Us 2. He then discusses that he probably won’t be in it due to his character’s “untimely demise” before talking with a fan who claims he hasn’t played it yet. Come on, silly fan, get on that.

Check out the video that will begin at the point of The Last of Us 2 discussion directly below.

Tomorrow Marks The End Of Club Nintendo

Spend up all your coins while you still can, because tomorrow is the last day you’ll be able to spend them. Club Nintendo will be closing its doors tomorrow at 11:59 PM PST.

As for what you can get with your coins, you can click on through right here for a full list. There’s a lot of great stuff you can potentially get, so don’t miss out. I was able to get 6 games back when I spent my coins, which got some classic games I had been dying to play for years.

Fret not, though, dear readers, as even though Club Nintendo will be gone very soon something else is set to take its place. In fact, Nintendo claims that a brand new membership service will launch this Fall that will be even better. Here’s to hoping it really is! *Chugs glass of water*

Destiny Paved The Way For PlayStation Getting Call Of Duty DLC Before Xbox

When it was revealed during Sony’s E3 press conference that PlayStation consoles would be getting all DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III before Xbox, the gaming world was unsurprisingly stunned.

Now, thanks to a new interview that PlayStation VP of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes, some information was finally revealed regarding how this happened.

According to Boyes, it was their relationship with Activision around Destiny that got the ball rolling:

“Well, I think the first thing was we’ve had a great relationship with Activision around Destiny and I’m a huge fan of that.”

So, after forming such a strong relationship with Activision to this day regarding Destiny, Activision eventually invited Boyes and his team to see Black Ops III. After playing it, Boyes was convinced that it was great and wanted to get involved with it.

This means that Call of Duty: Black Ops III will not only have all of its DLC release on PlayStation consoles first, but the game’s beta will also debut on PlayStation before it makes its way to other platforms.

Shigeru Miyamoto Is Not Working On Nintendo’s Next Console

The man responsible for some of the most iconic video game franchises ever, Shigeru Miyamoto, has revealed some surprising news. According to him, he is not at all involved in the development of Nintendo’s next console.

This news was revealed during an interview he had with Forbes, where Miyamoto revealed that he is instead involved with the development of games. This marks a shift from his usual hardware development role that he had filled for a long time now.

Here’s a snippet of what he said in the interview:

“I’ve pulled myself back out of some of the hardware section and I’m really focused on some of the software I’m involved in–for example, the new Starfox game.”

He goes on to mention that he has more of an observational role with the new hardware:

“Of course, I am observing and looking at the hardware, but I am not actively participating and making decisions.”

Elsewhere in the interview it is revealed that Nintendo is trying to win back third-party support with the new system, with the company discussing it with major publishers during E3 and the reception was apparently positive. This is great to hear, considering third-party publishers want pretty much nothing to do with Wii U.

New Information On Minecraft: Story Mode Coming Soon

At the end of last year we learned that Telltale Games would be taking yet another beloved series and turning it into an episodic adventure. This time they were taking Minecraft (of all things!) and are calling it Minecraft: Story Mode.

While any news regarding the game after that was slim to none, it looks like we might finally be hearing more very soon. Telltale Games took to twitter to tease that the game just might be making an appearance at Minecon.

Minecon 2015 is set to be held from July 4th to July 5th in London. Scroll down to see Telltale’s tweet.
