New Kingdom Hearts III Screenshot Released As Part Of The D23 Expo

D23 Expo is currently going on and during the event a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III was revealed. Although we won’t get to check out that new trailer until tomorrow, Square Enix has released a screenshot from it to tide over/tease fans until they can.

Kingdom Hearts III D23 Screenshot

The screenshot (shown above) isn’t some big revelatory image, but it’s still better than nothing. It looks like Sora, Donald and Goofy are having a hell of a time on what is called the Shooting Ride, which sounds to me like it could be a part of the game that could be a ton of fun.

Kingdom Hearts III still doesn’t have an official release date, though late 2016/early 2017 is expected at this point in time.

Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox 360 Screenshots Don’t Look Too Bad

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be releasing on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 later this year, though we’re now just getting our first look at what the game will look like on the last-gen Xbox console.

While the Xbox One screenshots are definitely better looking, the game isn’t looking bad on the Xbox 360 version, either. However, that’s mostly due to the fact that these cross-gen releases are very similar in appearance due to them being developed to be playable on the weaker hardware. So, if the company wanted to they could have ditched last-gen and we’d have an even better looking Xbox One version, but of course they wouldn’t do that as it means less money for them.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10th, 2015. The PC version will release in the first quarter of 2016, while the PlayStation 4 version will release in the fourth quarter of 2016.

I Can Confirm That Motion Blur In Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Has Been Reduced

I made it pretty clear that the motion blur that was featured in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was pretty ridiculous, with backgrounds looking like complete fuzz with even generally steady camera movement.

Earlier today the devs revealed that they would be releasing a patch that addresses this issue, and, sure enough, when I booted up my PlayStation 4 I received an update file to download. After everything was settled, I went into a mission in the game to see if this update really addressed the issue.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Motion Blur Reduction

After testing out it out for several minutes in different locations, I can confirm that the motion blur has been reduced. It’s definitely still there, but it’s now at a point that is much more bearable. The screenshot I provided above is me swinging the camera around full tilt, and while you can definitely see some blur, previously you wouldn’t have been able to even make out what the background was.

This may all seem like a very minor issue to make a big deal out of, but, honestly, it only seemed like a big deal to me because I’ve never really experienced a game with such a strange technical flaw. Regardless, the devs knew enough to make things right, and now moving around in the game won’t make any one queasy!

New Metal Gear Solid V Screenshots Boast The Diamond Dog

While Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will certainly have its fair share of hiding behind things while sneaking around to take down the bad guys, we shouldn’t forget the fact that there’s also a freakin’ dog in the equation.

That’s correct, Snake’s best Diamond Dog accompanies him on many of his travels in this game, as shown by the following screenshots. Please check them out as well as shots showing other cool things below.

The Halo 5: Guardians Cover Art Pits Spartan Locke Against Master Chief

Things are looking intense in the official cover art for Halo 5: Guardians.

Microsoft has revealed the official cover art of the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians, and it marks a change of pace for the series.

Halo 5 Cover Art

In the image above you can see that the cover art features not only Master Chief, but also the mysterious Spartan Locke and a band of other Spartans. This is a stark contrast to every other main entry in the Master Chief saga, as all previous ones focused entirely on Master Chief.

What I’m more interested in is how they are gonna fit this on the Xbox One’s case. Either they’re gonna have to do some serious cropping or they’ll have to flip the whole things vertically, which would be pretty weird.

As far as more information on the game is concerned, the company will reveal a lot more at this year’s E3. Halo 5: Guardians is developed by 343 Industries exclusively for the Xbox One and will launch on October 27th.

New Star Ocean 5 Screenshots Give A Glimpse Of Characters And Combat

Check out some new screenshots for the game that showcase the game’s gorgeous visuals and colorful cast of characters.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness was recently announced, and now some new screenshots for the game have arrived today.

These new screenshots were shared via Famitsu’s website and features the game’s gorgeous visuals and characters. Everything from magic and physical combat are shown, as well as some character interactions. You can check those out at the bottom of this post.

A teaser trailer for the game was recently revealed, although it showed very little of what we could expect from the main game. The footage of the teaser trailer featured content from previous entries in the series, explaining that this new game will take place 200 years after Star Ocean 2 and 200 years before Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is being developed by tri-Ace for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. A release date has yet to be confirmed, though more news is expected to come shortly. Check out the new screenshots below.
